These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SermonAI (the "Service"), operated by Ministry Tools LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SermonAI helps pastors and ministry teams turn sermons into ministry content. You may upload audio, video, manuscripts, or paste supported media links. The Service can transcribe sermons and generate outputs such as summaries, discussion questions, verse lists, blog posts, and devotionals.
We may improve, add, or remove features over time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@sermonai.pro if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of sermons, manuscripts, media files, and other materials you upload ("User Content"), as well as the outputs you generate for your ministry, subject to any rights of third parties in underlying source material.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service for you (for example, transcription, content generation, storage, and export). We do not claim ownership of your sermons.
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload User Content and to use any third-party material (including scripture text presentations, music, or media) in accordance with applicable licenses and laws.
4. AI-Generated Outputs
Outputs are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and may contain errors, incomplete information, or content that does not match your theology, tone, or intent. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all outputs before using or publishing them.
The Service is a productivity tool, not a substitute for pastoral judgment, biblical study, or professional advice. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- Uploading content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes others' rights
- Using the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service
- Bypassing usage limits, security controls, or billing restrictions
- Using the Service to train competing models or to scrape data at scale
- Uploading malware or content that compromises system security
6. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
Paid plans, free trials, and usage limits are described on our pricing pages and at checkout. Fees are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees are non-refundable. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, previously generated content may remain available in a limited or read-only form according to your plan and our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service—including software, design, branding, documentation, and other Company materials—is owned by Ministry Tools LLC and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or brand assets except as needed to identify your use of the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, media processing, transcription, and AI generation. Your use of those providers may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, except as required by law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINISTRY TOOLS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ministry Tools LLC and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, by additional notice (such as email or an in-app message). Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where prohibited by applicable law.
