Regenerating Content

How to regenerate a content type if you want a fresh version.

If you're not satisfied with a generated output, you can regenerate it to get a fresh version.

How to regenerate

  1. Navigate to the sermon and select the content type tab you want to redo
  2. Click the Regenerate button
  3. SermonAI creates a new version of that content type

Regeneration only affects the specific content type you select — your other outputs remain unchanged.

When to regenerate

Regenerating is useful when:

  • The output missed the main point of your sermon
  • The tone doesn't feel right and editing would take longer than starting fresh
  • You want to see an alternative version to compare

Things to keep in mind

  • Regenerating replaces the current version — if you've made edits you want to keep, copy them before regenerating
  • Each regeneration may produce slightly different results since AI generation is not deterministic
